Clearly I am not cheerful... I could not get the icons to load properly.

My talents are not in drawing; however I wouldn't have the interest in art and comics that I do today were it not for one book - Fathom.

I did not start my comic book adventures reading the Xmen, I dated guys who read them but I couldn't tell you a single thing about them at the time. (And when I did learn about them it would be because of RPGs)

Then a friend told me about a comic book that was coming out that was somehow, he was unclear, based around people with water abilities or from a world of water or under water (see the unclear part?) and I was quick to put in the effort to find out about.

That was the start of my love of comic book artists.

I decided to surf deviant before heading to bed this evening and saw one of the new headlines about Michael Turner and his passing and it made me sad. He inspired many and he will be missed.
